Ordering & Shipping
You may place an order with Health Studies Institute online, by phone, by fax or by mail. All purchases or other transactions conducted through this Web site utilize US dollars.
Shipping costs and taxes for recipients in the state of Washington will be added to all orders.
Express and international shipping are available. Orders received after 1:00 PM Pacific Time will be shipped the next business day. Please note that orders shipped on Friday for overnight delivery will arrive on the following Monday.
Refunds & Exchanges
Before a refund or exchange can be processed, any course materials purchased must be returned to Health Studies Institute in their original, unused condition.
When requested within 30 days of purchase, we will by happy to refund the full cost of any course minus a $12 shipping and handling fee, provided the exam has not been taken.
If a wrong course is accidentally purchased, we will be happy to assist participants in making the correct purchase (exchange), provided the exam has not been taken.
Refunds and exchanges are not available for any course once the exam has been taken.
Privacy
Health Studies Institute is committed to protecting privacy and earning your trust. Anyone can browse the Web site without supplying personal information about themselves. The information we collect about you from our Web site is only used to process registrations and purchases and to provide a more personalized experience as you use our services.
Health Studies Institute does not sell, rent, or trade email addresses or other personal information collected from our participants for advertising purposes.
We keep records of courses that our participants have purchased, completion status of those courses, and the number of CE credits earned. These data are stored and may be included in aggregate reports and audits as required by some of the continuing education approval granting organizations.
Cookies are used on the Health Studies web site to temporarily store session data during your visit. A cookie is a tiny file containing a unique code that helps to make your Web experience more enjoyable by allowing you to move from page to page without requiring you to re-login or repeat information that you have entered. If users of the site do not enable cookies on their Internet browser, our computer software may not be able to process orders or score tests.
Security
Preventing unauthorized access to participant's personal information is our primary security concern. In addition to the security benefit of password authentication, we use Secure Server Software (SSL) to maintain the safety and privacy of your information.
SSL is the industry standard and the most effective way to conduct secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name and address so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet. You can tell when you are on a secure page that uses SSL by ithe web address (it will start with https://).

*Note: Some states limit the number of credit hours you may earn via home study, so please ask us or check with your state board.
